The Glass House presents… Sum 41 in Pomona, California on Thursday, January 10, 2013.
After a long hiatus, it was unknown if Sum 41 were even alive. On Thursday, January 10, the band made it obvious that they were very much still alive. Super nostalgic were a couple words that came to mind on this day, and Sum 41 rocked the Glass House stage in Pomona, CA in front of an enthusiastic, and ever so rowdy audience.
While the band is touring on the 10th anniversary of second full-length “Does This Look Infected?”, don’t expect frontman Deryck Whibley, bassist Cone McCaslin, drummer Steve Jocz, and lead guitarist Tom Thacker to play the album in its entirety. Rather, the night’s set boasted of tracks spanning the band’s catchy discography (Still Waiting, In Too Deep, Fat Lip, and the latest Blood In My Eyes being among them) with some covers in the mix. It would be a night to remember as the crowd sang along, broke out into circle pits, and brought forth a continuous flow of crowd surfers throughout the night.
Sum 41′s tour continues forth through North America until the beginning of February. before going overseas.
